Call Bosch's Dishwasher Helpline to see if yours is a recalled unit. There is a problem with the control boards on many of these. I have the number in my guide for drainage problems. It is HERE.

Zanussi Lindo 300..keeps adding water to finishing spin cycle

If your Zanussi Lindo 300 washing machine keeps adding water to the finishing spin cycle, there may be a few possible causes. Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and fix the problem:
  1. Check the Drain Hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked, which can prevent the water from draining properly. Try removing any blockages or straightening any kinks in the hose.
  2. Check the Water Inlet Valve: The water inlet valve may be faulty, which can cause the washer to continue adding water. You can try cleaning the valve or replacing it if it is faulty.
  3. Check the Pressure Switch: The pressure switch controls the water level in the washer. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to continue adding water. Try cleaning the switch or replacing it if it is faulty.
  4. Check the Control Board: The control board is the brain of the washer and controls all the functions. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer to not operate correctly. Try resetting the control board or replacing it if it is faulty.
  5. Check the Door Lock: The door lock may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try cleaning the lock or replacing it if it is faulty.
  6. Check the Motor: The motor may be faulty, which can cause the washer to not enter the spin cycle and continue adding water. Try resetting the motor or replacing it if it is faulty.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the washer thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely.

Not finishing cycle

Is it draining out the water?? Dishwashers fill, spray, and drain more than several times during a cycle. After starting a cycle, let the unit fill, start spraying, and then cancel the cycle--listen for the drain pump activating and pumping out the water. If water is not being drained properly(within a certain time limit), the unit will error code out and stop. Also, make sure the filter is clear--if it gets clogged with "muck", enough water won't be sprayed onto the dishes properly, the pump will require too much energy to try to pump water, the control will sense this and shut down the unit to protect it.

Motor keeps running. Water heats fine. Help

One of the reasons for motor not draining during normal cycle is the check valve is stuck. It is meant to return to normal during drain cycle but close during wash. I think the cancel is resetting it and letting water out.

Our dishwasher won't drain completely. I ran it through a regular cycle but it was left with water in the bottom.

Have you tried canceling the cycle? To cancel, turn the on/off switch to on, then press and hold for three seconds the two buttons labeled "Cancel Drain". Keep the door closed for the next minute so that the dishwasher can complete the cycle. During this time the pump will remove any water from the washer. Also you will notice that Bosch dishwashers always leave a little water in the system to keep the seals from drying out and going bad.
Hope this helps

I have a Kenmore Elite He3. It won't complete any wash cycle without stopping and displaying HF. I can restart it but it continues restarts the wash cycle again. Therefore a Heavy Duty wash cycle of...

Hi

Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If there is no water entering the unit then make sure that the inlet valves are working fine. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hoses as they might be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...

My maytag mtw5600tq1 washer won't hold water. Its

Hi,
Its sounds like you have a siphon going on, this happens when the drain hose it too low during fill and as the water enters the unit it exits through the drain hose. To stop this the drain hose needs to be higher than the tub itself, meaning: raise the drain hose behind the washer to about control panel area. This will or should stop the siphon effect and allow the water to remain in the tub. If the drain hose is low this siphon will start again.
I hope this helps

Won't finish the wash cycle and flashes the code F 02

This code means that the machine is not evacuating its water.

F/02 Long Drain
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
  • Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
  • Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
  • If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.

Won't get off drain/cancel cycle

It sounds to me like you may have a float switch that is registering water in the unit when you try to start it. If the unit "registers"that there is water in the sump before starting a new cycle, it will try to drain it before starting. The switch is located under the lower acess panel. Sometimes, you can bounce the float (depending on model) inside the unit a couple times and dislodge it. If not, you will have to pull the lower acess panel and check the switch out.
