It could be many things, failed pump motor, failed mainboard and as you say, the door switch. There are some ideas in the link, but you would be advised to call your local Indesit Service Agent. Try a power cycle reset.
When you attempt to start a new cycle on your Indesit integrated dishwasher (model DIE2B19UK), the dishwasher beeps, and the lights begin to flash.
Various factors could be to blame for this problem.
A few troubleshooting tips are provided below:
Examine the door:
The dishwasher door should be securely closed and latched.
The dishwasher will only start if the door is properly shut.
Verify the water inlet:
Verify that the water inlet is turned on and that the inlet hose is free of glaring obstructions or kinks.
Check the filters: Check the filters in the dishwasher for any blockages or debris. Clean or replace the filters as necessary.
Check the pressure switch: The pressure switch is responsible for sensing the water level in the dishwasher. It could be malfunctioning, which is causing the dishwasher not to start.
Check the control board: The control board controls the dishwasher's functions. It could malfunction, causing the dishwasher not to start or displaying the error code. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. They can provide more detailed troubleshooting steps or recommend a service professional to diagnose the problem.
Hello, sounds like you either have a blockage in the pump or check valve. Remove the spray arm, the 4 screws on the filter and check for a blockage. If you find nothing inside the machine remove the panel at the bottom below the door. Behind this you will see the outlet pipe which is hooked up to the check valve. remove the outlet pipe and then unscrew the check valve from the dishwasher. has one the other day with a cherry pit stuck in the check valve. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment again. Also remember to turn off the breaker before working on your dishwasher. Thanks! Mike
it will require the door outer casing to be removed and the control panel to be removed as the lock assembly is fitted to the control panel, please make sure appliance is disconected from the mains supply as there are electrical connections there.
Your question is: you turn your dishwasher on, the heat comes on but no water comes through, can i please advise???
This may sound stupid but first make sure no one turned the water off to the d/w. If OK then you likely have a clogged or failed solanoid valve. The d/w must be removed for replacement. I don't recomend this for the average homeowner. You might consider utilizing our Repair Directory to find a repairman.

try testing the door interlock, actually this is only a micro switch inside the door behind the plastic front panel, there could also be the possibility there is a broken wire behind the door skin just above the hinge part, take care when working on appliances do not force parts to remove them and always unplug at the mains
hope i have helped, if so please rate me well
LITTLE BIT CONFUSING, BUT WITH BASICS, CHECK FOR RUBBER WASHER THEN USE PLUMBERS TAPE TO SEAL THREAD OFF PROPERLY WHEN YOU REASSEMBLE.ALSO MAKE SURE IT ISNT THE TAP THATS CAUSING THE LEAK.
