As we all want longer stand-by and talking times with our mobile phones and sometimes get problems to get an original battery for our old Nokias, here is a tip for this matter:
Most of the former Nokia mobile phones use the battery with the model type number "BL-4C". There are some models using type "BL-5C". This "5C" model has more capacity and could also be used instead of the "4C" model. The 5C model is slightly fatter than the 4C one. Using BL-5C needs with some Nokia mobile phone models a little modification (like 6100) while others do not (like 6260) and require a bit harder close of the battery lid. Cutting both edges on the batteries sides to fitting in the battery compartment is easy done. Charging process is not influenced and works accurate.
Replacement battery for A220 Feinwerkbau: MODEL 90 (FWB 90) AIR P 504A · Replacement A220/504A (Eveready 504 or NEDA 220) battery is Alkaline · Aftermarket ...
On older models, there is a round lock that you turn 90 degrees to release the battery. Use a coin, and it should turn fairly easily. You can order a battery specific to your model from various electronics supply houses.
On newer models, you cannot open the case. You must return the laptop to Apple, and they will replace it for a set fee. It varies with model, but the cost includes battery replacement, shipping, battery recycling, and a new warranty for the battery.
This means your battery isn't properly inserted or the battery is not the specified battery for that phone model..
Open the user manual for your phone and look up the battery information. The exact battery model number is listed here. Compare the model number to the battery you are attempting to use. If the model number is different, you are using the wrong battery.
If you are sure you have the right battery, remove the battery case from the phone Look on the battery for a white piece of adhesive with installation instructions. On the adhesive it states which side should be facing away from the phone.
Slide the battery into the phone following the instructions given on the battery. If you attempt to slide the battery in upside-down or flipped over the phone is not going to power on.
If you are sure that the battery is the problem ...open the laptop ..and remove the old battery ..and on the battery itself it is written the model and all you need to know about it in order to get a replace ...usually all batteries for laptops are the same ...size like the ones for desktops but much thinner ...anyway ..all toshiba models use the same kind...So just go to the near by computer store and ask for one ...they should know which model ...but if you go with the battery in hand its a sure thing you will not fail or buy a wrong model...
Have you changed to a new battery if so you have the wrong model battery all phones have particular model batteries and a few generic or aftermarket models that fit if it is original battery it could be buggered and needs to be replaced.
