How to scan more than 1 page at a time

ADF : Place the item into the document feeder tray. The printed side faces up and the top edge goes into the tray first. Adjust the width guides to fit the item. Open HP Solution Center with one of the following methods:
  1. Click Start , click All Programs , click the HP folder, and then click HP Solution Center
  • Double-click the HP Solution Center icon on your desktop. A "Scanning from..." screen displays to prompt for scan settings. If this settings screen does not display before the scan starts, a preference was set to bypass the prompt. To adjust settings, follow these steps to turn the prompt back on:
    1. Cancel the scan, return to the home screen of HP Solution Center, and then click the Settings option.
    2. Click Scan Settings , and then click the appropriate option from the popup menu: Scan Picture Settings or Scan Document Settings .
    3. Select the check box, Prompt for settings at the time of scan , and then click OK .
    4. Click Home , and then start the scan again. On the "Scanning from..." screen, click the appropriate option under "Scan Shortcuts" on the left. Each shortcut has a default group of settings that display when you click it.
  • Click Change Settings , and then read through the drop-down menu choices for all of the settings for the shortcut, adjusting any settings as necessary. Also click the Advanced Picture Settings button and the Save to file Save Options button to view your choices and make any changes. Important : HP Solution Center versions and options vary, depending on your printer. For specific instructions on all the settings the software offers, click the Help button on the home screen or settings screens in HP Solution Center.
  • Click Scan . The preview screen might display, if you selected the option to show a preview. Use the options on the preview screen to make any desired adjustments before you finish the scan.
  • After the scan completes, it goes to the destination that you specified in the settings.
  • Scan Button: HP recommends that you first get comfortable with using the "Scan Picture" and "Scan Document" on-screen "buttons" in HP Solution Center as explained in the previous steps. By doing this, you determine the scan settings that you use most often, and then you can more easily set up the scan button on your printer. Important: Before you use the scan button on your printer, use HP Solution Center to create the settings for that button . For example, you need to decide whether you want a settings prompt screen and a scan preview for each scan. Also, you must create the list of "shortcuts" that you want to display on the front panel of the printer. To get started, click Settings , click Scan Settings , click Button Settings , and then click the tab for Front Panel Scan Buttons . Read through the options, and then create the settings that you want. NOTE: The steps to set up the scan button on your printer can vary depending on your printer model, and the version of software that is installed. For specific instructions, click the Help button on the home screen or settings screens in HP Solution Center.

You can start EPSON Scan in the following ways.

If you want to select more settings, click Pause, then click Options to open the Options dialog box. For more details on settings, click the Help button in the Option dialog box.
After EPSON Scan has previewed and recognized the document type, the following window appears. You can see the document type in the window.
EPSON Scan automatically locates the target images, modifies their skew, and starts scanning.
    Caution:

Do not open the scanner unit during scanning or copying; otherwise, you may damage the CX6600.
    Note:

Be aware that clicking Cancel on this screen closes EPSON Scan.
The scanned image is sent to ArcSoft PhotoImpression.
    Note:

    * Depending on the image you want to scan, you may not get the expected scanned image. In this case, scan the image in the Home Mode or Professional Mode.

    * When you scan in the Full Auto Mode, black and white documents might be recognized as a color document. In this case, scan the image in the Home Mode or Professional Mode.

    Can't scan a document

Maybe it wants you to hit a start button in the computer program, to start the computer receiving the scan. Try to get an owners manual, sometimes there's one in the install cd.
