Kodak C813 This is my fifth one (yes I go through a LOT of cameras) and have not had anything but praise for this inexpensive alternative; love that it takes videos and photos BUT without any major changes to my hardware, suddenly it is not recognized and I cannot upload the photos I have taken over the past week. I use this as a business tool as I rescue and rehome domestic animals. This is really frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Easy Share software twice now, have tried going through Adobe to upload the photos (sometimes that worked before). All I want is these photos off of THIS camera... ready to throw in the towel here.

If the photos are saved on the sd card in the camera you should be able to copy them onto your pc by taking out the card and inserting it into the pc. If you have no card slopt use a card reader with a usb end. The photos will then open up with any program capable of opening photos such as paint,photoshop or whatever. The easyshare software is only necessary if you are getting the photos to your pc via the cable which came with the camera. Personally I just pop the sd card into the pc and use mgi.photosuite or paint to open it. If you copy the photos onto the pc just double click on one of the photos and it will most likely open with the default program.
