Playfull waterproof won't turn on - Kodak PlayFull ZE2 Waterproof Video Camera

Motorcycles are waterproof, it comes with the job.

Spray all the electrics with Water Displacement formula 40 (WD40), that's what it is made for. Starter button, solenoid and starter.

There's kodak reseller shops where you can replace the battery. Some repair shop also has this kind of service.

I had the same problem. I checked the voltage first to ensure it was greater than 3.7V (some batteries were not). I left the door open and pushed the battery down and pressed the button and it powered up. Seems to be a problem with the contacts. I put about 6 layers of duct tape on top of the battery to cause the door to push it down and now it works.

First, I'd try holding the power button down for 30 seconds. That will force a shut down on a lot of electronic devices. Do you have the manual? It might show a combination of buttons to force a shutdown.

If that doesn't work, try removing the battery. That will force a shutdown. If the battery is not removable, then you'll just have to wait until the battery wears out, which could take days.

If you get it to shut down, then start it back up. If it's still frozen when you restart, then your problem is not something I can solve

If you're going on at trip in the winter or you're going to a place that is expected to rain occasionally your stuff will probably get wet and when you'll want to make fire you'll need dry matches to light up the fire and in case your matches get wet you won't be able to do so, that is the reason why you need the waterproof matches.

probably the camcorder wasn't meant to be underwater or a underwater camcorder can only function properly during a certain depth you go in the water.. but if you go over the limit of the depth you went underwater it would shut down and not come back to function properly.

I couldn't locate your Xacti E1 6 MP waterproof camcorder on the Sanyo website.
