Please post a picture of the door, door latch and receiver. Better yet, post a video of door not shutting properly.

'95 Thunderbird driver's side door doesn't open from inside.

Hello Elly
You need to remove the inside panel of the door and there should be a metal rod that connects the inside door handle to the lock.
It sounds like the connecting rod slipped out of the hole. There is usually a white plastic piece that holds the rod in position. The rod pushes inside the center hole of the plastic piece and there is like an arm that clips onto the rod to keep the rod in place. This plastic piece arm could be broken or came loose which causes the rod to slip out.

Door will not stay shut...........simply pops open after 10 or 15 seconds. No visible damage. No debris along the door pathway. Perhaps a new plastic latch. The old one looks fine.

You just need to replace the catch and the strike it is easy to install.

The outside door handle operates fine, but the door will not open from the inside using the inside door handle. I am looking for how to remove the door panel, and then fix or replace a part so the interior...

Start by locating the screws in the door panel, usually around the the door handle itself. there may be some on the bottom, look to see. The rest of the door panel is held on by either plastic or metal push in clips, you may have to buy a door panel tool or use a 3" to 4" wide putty knife to ease otu the clips with. Once the door panel is removed, you probably find out that you'll need a plastic retainer clip to go back in place of the one broken, you can get these clips in the help section at Auto Zone, most GM cars have the same styles, just match the correct year model and vehicle type. remove any broken pieces from rod and replace new clip and install the rod in place simultaneously, usually slide the rod and clip together while twistng into the other rod's hole. re-install the door panel with the plastic factory sheet for noise and good luck.

I have a Dometic rm2652 refrigerator the door hinge broke

the hinge is not plastic, only the insert sleeve that goes into the hole atop the door is plastic. If the actual hinge (metal arm) is broke, then you need to order a new part (not difficult if frig is 20 years or less). If you cannot find the part, go to a metal shop and show them the broken part, they usually can repair it or remake a new piece.
If the hole in the door went bad (that is: if the hole tore open and cannot hold the hinge pin) you need to have a metal repair brace added to the door. This will involve the metal shop or a good mechanic that can come to you and do the neccessary repair at the house; otherwise you need to bring the door to the metal shop. macgivor

Repalce Door handle on GE Profile model number SCA1000DBB03

There're some half a dozen or so small screws securing that frame to the door face. These screws must be removed. Then, the frame can be pried out by releasing the plastic snappers (with a flat screwdriver) while in the same time gently helping the frame to detach from these snappers' hold and the door face. It's a tidious, somewhat annoying task. The snappers may and will even likely break in the process, but aren't needed for the frame to be resecured to the door face after the handle is replaced. Note that the broken ends of the handle must be held with a pair of pliers or a flat screwdriver needs to be inserted bewteen each of them and the hole, or the ends will turn with the screws. This is because the metal screws' grip of the plastic handle broken ends is very strong and otherwise won't get separated.Once the above is accomplished, reassembling the door is a brease.

P.S.: The dual end latch may interfere somewhat with the job and can be removed for the process to be undertaken without it disturbing. It's easy to remove and replace that latch, including its spring.

Battery door.

Hi, waiting for the replacement part, I had a look at the broken one . I think you may be able to replace just the plastic part without removing the pin. I'll look closer when I get the part.

Microwave door handle replacement

Solution for GE Spacemaker Ovens (my model is JVM1650BH05)

1- Remove door by lifting it out of hinges. You will need to remove grille first (2 set screws).
2- Carefully pry off the plastic inside door trim. Use a fine knife or putty knife. There are 10 tabs holding the trim from behind. It's OK if you break a tab! Try to pull out as straight as possible.
3- Once the trim is off, remove the 2 visible screws that hold the door handle. NOTE: There are 2 invisible screws so you are not done yet!
4- You now need to remove the metal ring that holds the latches. To do that, grab the metal ring and using your other hand, release each plastic tab one by one (same tabs as above).
5- Once the metal ring is loose, you will see 2 screws. Remove them if they are still there.
6- Position your new handle and attach using the first 2 screws.
7- Reposition the metal ring by re-snapping it in place. Install the other 2 screws.
8- Replace the plastic trim by snapping it back in place
9- Reinstall door and grille. Tell wife or hubby that you are a genius!

Bonus: use metal washers when screwing down the 2 first screws.
