Question about Motorola Mobility HS850 Consumer Headset

Moto bluetooth HS850 WON't turn ON!

I have the HS850 Bliuetooth . It has been sometime since I have used it. The problem is it will not turn on it seems. The blue LED won't flash. It seems like it's not even charging. I have plugged it in and wiggled the connection around. Tried to pair it again with my MOTO RAZR cell and nothing happens. It's like the headset is dead. It doesn't do anything. I think it's possible that I need a new battery or a new charger. The manuel has no troubleshooting guide so taht sux. I wonder whats going on with this piece of crap? If anyone can help ....

I think your guess is right a new battery may be required but try leaving it on charge for 12hrs or so sometimes if they havn't been used for a long time they go dormant and it takes a realy good charge to get them going

Motorola HS850 N136 bluetooth won't go into discoverable mode. I press and hold the call button. The light turns blue for a second but then turns off. I am trying to get my cell phone to discover it.

open the boom (mic) right when it turns to solid blue!

My hs850

Press and hold your power button for about 10 seconds, unitl the blue light starts flashing. Most people just push the button and think it will turn on, but you must hold it for a while and it will turn on.

Blue tooth adapter and hs850 headset on my computer

Yes, you need the blue tooth driver. The one that comes with your blue tooth "toggle". Although my laptop said "blue tooth compatible" I still needed a toggle. They are fairly cheap to buy and go into a USB port.
