I can hear but people can't hear me

Try to unmute the headset. This may be your problem. The mute function is enabled through the volume buttons. Simply tap both volume buttons at the same time until you hear a mute tone. The mute tone when unmuting the call will be a descending tone. When you tap both volume buttons, if you hear a descending tone you have just disabled the mute function and your problem is solved. If the mute tone is ascending tones you have just enable the mute function and this was not the issue. If this is the case consult your user manual or contact Motorola for trouble shooting.

My subwoofer on my philips 5.1 speaker system is constantly generating lots of bass noise even on mute.

I assume you are using XP. Try these steps.
1. Open 'Sound and Audio devices' in Control Panel.
2. Select 'Advanced...' button near bottom. b2053f1.jpg

3. Select 5.1 system 972ed04.jpg

4. Start playing a sound.
5. Set the volume control of the subwoofer to the middle position.
6. Open volume control and adjust Master volume to a comfortable level (i.e. until there is no hum).

Also make sure you haven't muted any sound device except microphone. I think your problem is you have set it to the maximum level. So decrease it.
7. Mute the sound and check.
Good luck! Let us know the result.

I cannot find the way to mute this phone

I have verizon! lol Try pressing on the side button to turn the volume down until it's at silence all. That should mute all sounds, if that doesn't work then I don't know what to do. You can always call them and bother them and have them tell you lol. Sorry your having trouble with your phone!

Toshiba Regza 32C3000A tv sound keeps droping out, the mute button when pressed on and then off brings it back on. seems as if the tv is auto muting itself?

Could be a contact piece of the MUTE button from your remote that is causing it.
Go out and Big Lots or Radio Shack to get a cheap universal remote control(big lots would be between $5-$10) Pick up the code for it,and when the tv happens again, your the OLD remote MUTE button to turn it back on and then put away this remote control and use the new universal remote control.
However,if the problem is coming from the manual MUTE button on the TV,you need a repair tech, to fix it!
