Cdp c221 What are the proper instructions for operating 5-disc?

There are 6 or 7 phillips head screws that keep the top on; remove them and pop the top. This will give you access to all CD's. Remove them all, then plug the unit back in and press the open close button and check for normal operation. If it still wont open, it's broken a gear and needs to be serviced. You may consider replacement of the unit if inoperative, the replacement model is priced at $129.00 and a repair would probably cost the same if not more.
