A signal splitter should be used in conjunction with two or more TVs.
You can buy it from any electronic spare part selling shops.

SOURCE: My Lg 42lc7d 42 inch flatscreen tv has no sound

1- check all the cables that are hooked up to the TV 2- try to get audio to and external speakers or home theater (to check the sound card). 3- if the step # 2 don't work either you have a bad sound board on your TV. 4- opn the TV try t get the part # of the board, and replace it

SOURCE: New Lg 42" plasma flatscreen

How new is it? Usually these TVs have a cool-down period, but a warm up of longer than 15 seconds is unusual. I would return it or try to get it fixed under warranty.

Both TV's stopped working at the same time!

Have an electrician check both power outlets. if there is a thunderstorm and lightning strike near you recently ,then both may have been shorted.

Check the power cable of both TVs too.

If you have a dual tuner it is in sigle mode. Go to the front panel on the receiver and press the mode button. This may be behind a push open door based on the receiver you have. If this does not work let me know. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Lg plasma flatscreen

Hi,
The boards responsible for sending signals to your plasma screen has gone bad. Technically speaking, the Y SUS, Z SUS and the Y Buffers are suspect. Sometimes, owners heard a popping sound then the display will go away leaving only sound. It's an expensive repair that can go upwards of $500. Fortunately, LG typically has two (2) years parts and labor warranty for their big screen TVs. LG has a strict repair turn-around time so call it in and you'll have your TV fixed in no time... (realistically, 5-7 days). Best Regards

Should be controllng one box. is controlling 2 boxes

Unfortunately, there is no solution for this issue.  The remote control sends out an infrared signal, which can be picked up as far as 40' away from the device.  And to make things worse, the signal will reflect off any surface such as glass, mirrors, or even brightly painted walls.
The only way to solve the problem is to block the path of the beam to the other room.  This may require closing a door or drawing heavy drapes closed.
