Hi, my Yamaha DD65 has got a problem, one of the pad not working, doesn’t gives any sounds once hit with sticks/hand, it is the hi hat pad, any body have any solution for this???

If one of the pads on your Yamaha DD65 electronic drum set is not working and not producing sound when hit with sticks or your hand, there could be a problem with the pad itself or with the drum module. Here are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Make sure that the pad is securely connected to the drum module. The pad should be firmly plugged into the corresponding port on the drum module.
  2. Check the pad for any visible damage or debris. If the pad is damaged or clogged with debris, it may not be functioning properly.
  3. Check the drum module for any visible damage or debris. If the module is damaged or clogged with debris, it may not be functioning properly.
  4. If the problem persists after trying these steps, it is possible that there is a problem with the pad or the drum module. In this case, you may need to have the drum set inspected by a technician to determine the cause of the issue.
If you are not comfortable troubleshooting the problem yourself, it is recommended that you contact Yamaha customer service for assistance. They may be able to provide further guidance or offer repair options.

I have a yamaha dd65 kit and I'm having problems with it spontaneously turning off when in use. However when I have headphones plugged in or it's plugged in to an amp, it works find and contin

Since plugging something into the Headphone/output port seems to temporarily fix the problem, I would suspect that it might be the power plug of the adapter. Maybe what is happening is that plugging something into the headphone port is somehow putting some pressure and helping the power adapter plug to stay in place and provide power. Odd problem you have there.

Check the condition of the inout power jack and the soldering of it. Also look for cracks in the circuit board around the jack. These jacks are marginal and are often intermittent.

I am thinking of buying a yamaha dd-65 portable digital drum from America. But I live in Sydney, Australia so am assuming I can't use it here (because of the different voltages)? If I were to buy the...

If you use the right adapter for the voltages it will work fine. The other option is to use a transformer that steps the power down to 110 to 120 and use the supplied adapter. The unit takes very little power.
