1988
No country stated, no that DOES make this hard.
lighting does very by country, (DOT laws ......)
no symptoms posted. sigh
very old car.
why does wiki show 89 as first year.?
why is 88 missing in alldata.com
my guess, is 88 is build date? and not official mfg year date.
sold under 10 different names
my on line page shows, 1991 rodeo (usa)
head light relay , with 4 pins and the red-blue wire.
ok location.
the fsm im views shows a man with hood open
and removing the fuse box clear cover. and on said cover is the words. head lights, over the Relay spot.
lost the cover? or even look under the hood.?
there is a cab fuse box too with same markings.
the car came new, with the operators guide (sure lost) and has all that there. all fuses and relays.
quote.
Sales of the three-door began in the United States during the second quarter of 1989 under the Isuzu Amigo name

SOURCE: low beam headlight /daytime light are not working
It's on the driver's side. Remove all the plastic & it's in there.Big rectangle, black box,about 1.5" thick,lotta wires.
SOURCE: High beam headligts will not come on + no dash
Sounds like a bad switch to me. If it was a relay,it would not work period. Not to mention, the switch controls the dash lights too.
SOURCE: low beams don't work - both out at the same time.
DID YOU CHECK THE BULBS?
Testimonial: "spot on."
SOURCE: 1998 cadillac deville. i do not have low beam
No the dimmer switch doesn't change high/low beams just interior lights. Did you try changing the bulbs?
Good Luck,

SOURCE: 1997 Isuzu Rodeo low beam problem.
Rodeo has an opening where the blinker switch go into the steering column and gets full of dust and ect. Take a can of computer keyboard cleaner and stick the spray tub down into the column and spray while working the blinker switch up and down and or compressed air to get the dust out, works everytime.
