Sometimes it works fine other times it has the code le. Is the fix easy.
The manufacturer has assigned the LE error or fault code to indicate a problem with the water circulation pump motor. Turn the appliance off for 30 minutes to allow it to cool. Then, restart the cycle. If the error code returns, have the wiring to the pump motor checked out by an experienced person. Also, check the impeller and wire harness, if they are fine and the code keeps returning, you will probably need to replace the pump and motor assembly, this needs to be done by an experienced electrician.
I think you may be getting IE code which relates to water inlet problems. Either the water pressure is low or the inlet valve may not be working properly.
Refer page 21 in the user manual which can be dowloaded from this site

But if it is LE code then see this page for suggested fix.

Yes this certainly is a sticking point, the inside of the panel is coated with black insulation, when it heats up the wires stick in it and eventually the wires break. The fix is as stated, splice the broken wires together, as well take some of the white insulation and put it in between the wires and the liner.
The errors that can arise from the sticky wires are numerous, LE, IE, etc. EI though is more than likely a siphoning problem. If your unit is noisey during operation, open the door, what is the water level? It should be at the second rim. If not, that is your first clue that the unit is siphoning. Make sure you have your loop in the drain hose.

You should check for that the pump motor turn freely. You will have to remove the sump cover in the bottom of the dishwasher and manually turn the pump impeller. (note: screw holding the impeller on the motor shaft is a left hand thread) There may be an object there or at the cutting blade a bit lower down that is preventing the motor from turning. Motor should turn easily, smoothly, and quietly. There have been issues with magnets in the motor windings cracking, resulting in hard to turn or noisy motors. Also, models produced with serial numbers 501KW_____ to 702KW_____ may have wiring which has become embedded in the door insulation material, softening the wiring insulation, and causing a short to the motor. The fix for that is to replace the wiring harness and outer door liner with one with a different type of insulation. (not much fun to do)

SOURCE: I get error code le on LG dishwasher.
hi,
le means locked motor disassemble the filter and work your way down to the macerator(steel chopper blade) remove it and see if the side labeled "this side up" is really up, its in english... dont think the chinese labourers paid attention to the warning cause i have seen alot that were wrong way
if it was installed correctly order the complete motor/sump assembly btw you do know LG d/w came with a 2 year warranty right? and some of the water distribution system had a longer limited warranty
read your manual, it states warranty, then price the part, then call warranty depot to ask them their service call and labour to install motor/sump
This part taken from a LG repair manual:
(Display Condition LE = Motor Error
Possible Cause For Error Occurrence:
Wiring connection is OK?
The Impeller of Washing Pump is
locked.
The rotor of Washing Motor is
locked.
The Blade is locked.
Remedy:
Check the wiring connection.
Replace the cause of restriction.
Replace the Washing Motor.
Replace the PCB.)
good luck.........
