Not to be coy, but the best way to repair this problem is to take your Keurig back to Bed Bath & Beyond and exchange it for a brand new one!

As for your problem, your description was not detailed, but I would guess that the leak you are referring to is not coming out of the reservoir at all, but is actually coming from the bottom of your machine. The reason for this is that there is a solenoid located in the back of the unit that is notorious for leaking over time. The only way to repair it is to completely disassemble the unit and replace it. This solenoid is also responsible for your Keurig to "short-cup" you, meaning your Keurig brews, but you only get a partial cup of coffee. If your unit has not done this yet, it will start shortly.

So back to what I said at the beginning, your best option is to simply return it to BBB for a new one. You do not need a receipt, nor have had purchased it there in the first place. If you are interested in this option (& I highly recommend it), please send me an email at [email protected]. And I will send you al the information you need on how to return it for free. If you decide to send me an email to learn about this, please let me know in the email that you were from Fixya.com. If you want to know more about why the Keurig leaks and how to repair it, please search You Tube for my video series call Keurig Operation and Repair. It's long, tedious and extremely boring, but skip around and then send me an email. You will be happy you did. Good luck and IO hope this helps.

The brewer should be de-scaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. De-scaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend de-scaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The de-scaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar.

Take 48 oz of white vinegar. place in tank. pretend you are making coffee (Do No Use K Cup). let the water fill you mug. then empty that mug. Do it again until tank is empty. then let sit for 4 hours.
Then fill with fresh water to the top. let that tank of water run thru. towards the end taste the water.
If you taste vinegar..use more clean water, until the taste is ok.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Vote/Rate this response. Thanks and good luck

SOURCE: my k cup reusable coffee

I had the same issue and found a **** fix that is working well. The issue is that the hole in the my-kcup doesn't seal to the machine so I take a square of foil and put it over the top of the closed my-kcup assembly, crimping it under the rim of the cap. This seals the assembly and forces the water through the my-kcup. It also makes a better cup of coffee because the water is all going through the grounds.

We recently obtained a used B70 coffee pot from my mother-in-law. There is a charcoal filter, but I am not sure where to put it. It is in some kind of holder that has 1 through 12 on it. Do I just drop...

Keurig has the manuals for their coffee makers here: http://www.keurig.com/customer-service/brewer-registration-and-support/user-guides-and-help . The B70 is their Platinum Brewing system. The direct link to the manual is http://www.keurig.com/customer-service/brewer-registration-and-support/~/media/DD2E19AE632A45BDAA55D72706420B74.ashx .

You need to put the filter into the reservoir at an angle (caddy-corner to the reservoir). According to user comments, it works best going from the front left corner and back to the right. Others find they need to wet the filter for 30 minutes and then squeeze out some of the excess water to loosen the filter. This site has comments on using the filter with the Keurig brewers: http://www.keurig.com/accessories/water-filter-starter-kit .

I hope this helps.
