Why is my display is not working if my scanner is fully charged?

Try this trick. Pull battery and put camera in a zip lock bag and into freezer overnight. Take out and install charged battery and see if there is any change. This worked with a Go-pro I had, unbelievable! Capacitors get old and dry out and these sometimes affect the charge circuit as well as batteries getting old too. Li-po batteries (yours) get old if you use them or not so it may just be an expired battery.

if the battery is fully charged it could be that you switched off by error the display....

Hi, this error message usually caused by jammed papers or foreign objects inside your printer. To resolve this issue, please try the following steps.
1. Turn off the printer.2. Open the scanner unit.3. Check for any jammed papers or foreign objects then remove it.4. Check the ink cartridges and lids if push down fully.5. Close the scanner unit.6. Turn on the printer.

If the same error reappears, try the following.
1. Turn off the printer.2. Open the scanner unit.3. Remove all the ink cartridges.4. Turn on the printer >> your printer will display install ink cartridges.5. Install all the ink cartridges, make sure it clicks into place and also the lids should be push down fully.5. Close the scanner unit.6. Press the Start or OK button to charge the cartridges.
If the issue persists, your unit will require service. Please contact Epson so they can check if your printer is still under warranty or ask them for the nearest service center in your area.

If the battery is fully charged but still your unit does not work, the problem could be a lost contact inside your scanner. It could be a factory defect. What you've got to do is to call your service provider about it. They can definitely help you solve it. Thanks.

when the unit is totally drain (main battery and back-up batter is totally drain), you need to charge the device at least 20hrs to fully charge the main and back-up battery check manual of mc1000 re battery charging @ page 21-22

we have to keep some time to charge this LG Vu CU920 as there is no option like fully charged display....... switch off your phone after 10 pm and charge it for 3 hrs or wake up in the mornig make the phone off and charge it for 2 and half to 3 hrs.... then the battery will work long

It is very likely that the batteries need charging, tip, charge them in a separate charger, if the batts are low, the scanner asks for confirmation to charge them (it is not automatic) and with no display you won't see this message and will forever keep trying to charge them without confirming "yes" for the scanner to do it!!.
