Fix it by doing the following:
Warning: Restoring will delete all data on your device but this is the only way for you to recover it.
If you don't get it at first, try holding the buttons for lesser time or see the other procedures on my tip (link below):

Connect your ipod to the computer and get itunes to come up. Sorry mate but then you will have to restore the ipod so the lock password feature is taken off

Try plugging your iPod into your computer, then restoring it through iTunes. First, make sure everything you need is backed up, because this will delete everything off of your iPod before restoring it to the original factory settings.
