Guitar lookup serial number

There is help for the older ones but not in the 93 million number range. Having said that, I would decode the serial as the 18th guitar of the 08 month in 1993. But it's a guess.

That most used guitar dating site is said to be incorrect about 8 digit Gibson serial numbers, which, with 9 digit numbers, were used on their later models.

It was made in 2014, on the 247th day, in Kalamazoo MI

If the serial number appears on the headstock by itself, the guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA in 1953.

If the serial number appears on the headstock with 'Made in USA', the guitar was made at the Kalamazoo or Nashville Plant, USA
in 1974 Or 1975.

This is tricky because Gibson duplicated serial numbers in different years on different models, and the serial number by itself does not give the model.

If the serial number is on the headstock, but not the place of manufacture, your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant, MI, USA in 1963.

If definitely a Les Paul Classic the guitar was made at the
Nashville Plant, TN, USA in 1991 or in 2001 (see what I mean?)

If the serial number is on the headstock, along with "Made in USA", the guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Or Nashville Plant, USA in 1970, 1971 Or 1972.

If the serial number is impressed on the headstock along with 'Made In USA' your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo or Nashville Plant, USA, in 1974 Or 1975.

Dean guitars made in the USA follow a serial number pattern consisting of a 7 digit number with the first 2 numbers being the year of manufacture, followed by instrument production numbers. The serial number is found on the back of the headstock. Imported Dean guitars do not have year coded serial numbers and have to be dated by configuration and design.

Ibanez serial number can tell you two things, year of manufacture and factory [or country] of manufacture. with most typical Ibanez serial numbers the first 2 digits will indicate year, or the first digit will indicate the last digit of the year, but there are also some that indicate no year at all. There is no master list to correlate to a model number,This particular style serial number will either be on the neck plate or right into the back of the headstock. It consists of a letter, A - L, followed by a 6 digit number. The letter stands for the month, A for January etc., the first 2 digits will be the year, 76 is 1976, 96 is 1996, the last 4 digits will be the consecutive production number for that months production, 1356 would be the 1356th guitar produced that month. You don't specify brand or model of the instrument you're asking about, but generally on an electric guitar the serial number will be on the front of the headstock, the back of the headstock, the heel, or the neck mounting plate, as it apppears your's is.

Sounds like an Indonesian 2009 model, when asking serial number lookup, model of guitar will help.

Check front of headstock, rear of headstock. Neckplate on the back of guitar. If not, remove neck and check the heel and neck "pocket."
