To reset it to factory settings, you have to enter its Service Mode option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

How to connect ONYZ home kit sirius to a NAD T775?

Try a factory reset of the receiver.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the MENU and SOURCE buttons until Factory Reset is displayed. Then Power Off from Back panel for 1 minute and power up normally.
You may have damaged the receiver if you did not power off before installing the Onyx module.

BLACK AND WHITE

Hello.

1. Have you tried to switch channel to AV or RGB on your TV?

2. Some DVD Players have internal settings for the output mode if you go into the menu and settings on the DVD.

3. If its connected to the TV via a scart cable make sure the connectors are fitted all the way into the socket on both TV and DVD

Hope this will help you with your problem.

Power supply board component out

Hi goikem

I would replace the capacitor first and check the resistor with an ohms meter to see if it has changed in value(gone high). remounting the resistor (you may have to replace it also to do this with longer leads) to be clear the Pcb and also the capacitor to be as far away from the resistor as a heat source also may help. Darkening of the board is not uncommon where there are power components. Having said that, it should not generally happen in the first place... but it often does. Power supply failures in modern gear relates to heat stress so often. Capacitors failing from this overheating is the biggest problem of all. In the workshop, where we suspect that caps have failed, we generally replace them all, and always use good brand name 105deg rated devices(Rubycon or Nichicon brands i prefer) to help minimise the recurrence of failure. You can order them from Farnell in most countries of the world. If you cannot identify the values of the components, I am happy to try and help you here. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. FixYa rating is the best way to thank me for helping you out. Cheers

Tray won't open

What your husband is doing appears to be the right approach. Looks like the CD was not inserted properly and must've gone out of its seating and preveting the door from opening. Just pusing the CD back to position should take care of it.
