How to clear 'prirnt unable 51' in 230c printer?

The error message came up just after I mistakenly hit 'color' and 'black' at very nearly the same time. Neither 'stop/exit' nor 'on/off' button have any effect. [resetting purge to 0000 did not work; pulling the power cord, waiting, and re-plugging the cord did not work]

SOURCE: unable to clean error message

This is very common on Brother MFCs - they self clean excessively and when they've done a set number of self-cleans, they refuse to print and give the error message you quote.

There is a work around - you can reset the self-clean counter - but this carries a small risk the waste ink from cleaning that is normally stored insde the machine in a tank/sponge MAY leak out. I've done the work around on my Brother MFC and, so far, no leakage so if I were you I'd take a punt.
Just Google "brother mfc unable to clean" and somewhere in the results will be how to reset the counter - it's all done from the keyboard so no tools required.

SOURCE: Unable to Clean 5A

The machine does not work due to a paper jam or some sensor problem.
Clear the paper jam, try to clean the sensor on the top of the printhead.

Problem in hp cp 2025 color laser printer that printer is giving error message "used black cartridge is in use error

This error typically indicates that the cartridge was moved (e.g. previously installed) from another printer to your printer. The error should not affect your ability to print. If you want to clear the error, replace the affected cartridge with a genuine HP replacement.

Hp 6150 won't print clearly --new cartridges are in

Clean the print head if you suspect that the nozzles might be clogged. Cleaning the print head consumes ink, so perform print head cleaning only when necessary.

Hope this initial info/idea helps.

Supply Memory Error

It sounds like you are having two diffrent problems. I don't think they are associated with each other.
First, the memory supply error. The cartridges on this machine have a chip. The chip could very well be faulty causing this supply error message. Change the black cartridge and see if the message clears. if it dosen't then the antena that reads that chip needs to be replaced. I suspect the cartridge is the problem.
Second, the paper jams. This can be caused by a worn p/u roller as you mentioned. Sounds like the jam happens first then the error, based on your description.
The black thing you refer to on the door is called the "transfer belt assembly".

Ink cartridge?

Remove the color cartridge and power on the printer again, if that clears the error, replace it with a new one. Do the same with the black cartridge.
