What is fedders AC error code 7f

After being off for a while, the AC will work for a little while and then stop.

i would try to oil bearings on motor. that failing replace run capacitor. motor must be getting hot.

FEDDER'S PORTABLE UNIT SAYS STOP. WONT RUN

Disconnect power to the unit and reconnect. If "stop" is still on the display you will probably need a qualified technician to trouble shoot. The best mode is the snowflake (cooling). The rain drop is dehumidification which can cause condesation on unit.

I would try to start the unit with only the fan running at first. If it stays running then cycle on the compressor and see how it does. If the unit does not operate when compressor is turne on then we have to dig deeper into that.
