How can I remove the serrated drive coupling from a Krups F577 blender so I can replace it?
Normally they are threaded on, to remove them they need to be shocked to turn in the same direction as they turn when operating. A solid screwdriver and large hammer to whack it to turn in the normal direction it rotates when being used.

The coupling to the motor is loosely rotating on the motor shaft. Has the threads on the coupling worn out. it is a breville optiva cbl6 blender
The coupling bush wear out in due time and must be replaced. if there is a wearing detected it must be changed or it will result in failure of the bush/ bearings of the motor and jar. You will need to remove using anti clockwise direction, Get the correct spare part from the dealer to replace. Good day

How to unscrew the damaged rubber driver gear so that I can screw on the new one.
This isn't a 'generic' problem since it is doubtful that all brands are the same. You need to include make and model when asking for help.
Just generally; note the direction the motor rotates when running and try removing the damaged drive gear by turning in the same direction while preventing the motor armature from moving. This latter problem may be tough on some motors and avoid digging into the windings with a screwdriver or other object. It could be a left-hand thread which is always confusing (and unnecessary most of the time).
I'm surprised to read that anyone is attempting to repair an item that is fairly inexpensive to buy new but I wish you success; there is enough junk in the dumps already.

Kitchen Aid Blender - blade not rotating
You will definitely need to change the clutch blade i.e. the black rubber rotating bit. Chaging it on the base unit may be difficult, I would check with your local Kitcheaid repairer for spare parts and repair advice.

Also check the clutch blade on the jug itself.

Cleaning
You have to hold the button (above the blending jar) down while turning the rotating paddle in the ice hopper. It will eventually catch, then you can unscrew it, take it apart, and clean it. Just be careful not to cut yourself on the shaver blade.
