Ck presser foot tension. even with sightest presser ft tension goods should feed. next ck that your feeder plate is not loose or broken. take off the plate and see if u can move the feeders with your finger. tighten screws makinf sure the needle is centered inthe feeder plate hole. if this is not the problen then youe=r feeder plate teeth are too low or worn out. look up how to raise the feeders. the should be 1/8" above plate.

If the machine is brand new take it to the seller - you don't want to void the warranty by trying to fix it yourself.
If it's an old machine it is probably just gummed up from years of unuse. Try some PB BLaster or Break Free (both automative stuff) on the feed linkage, followed by sewing machine oil and heat from the hair dryer -- and run the machine with the feed disengaged. It should losen up but it may take a few days. Years of neglect can't be rectified overnight :)

It may just be stuck from being in storage and unused.
Try oiling the machine as per the manual, lowering the feed, and running the machine. The movement of the linkages may free things up. Another thing you can try is applying heat from the underside (open the bobbin access door and blow the heat in) as the heat will allow the oil to seep in better...then run the machine some more.

You need to be using a free motion foot or a darning foot, the regular presser foot is not for free motion.
