TRYING TO DATE THE BASS. SERIAL NUMBER DNGH-1687
Unfortunately "BXP" indicates that it is an import. There is no
way, (that I know of), to correlate the serial number with the year shipped like american made models are done. i will try to research it for you further. Let you know if i find anything

I would expect the numbers are on the installation disc, not the hardware. Also check labels on the original box it came in.

Find it on Ebay or check your local pawn shop's Blue Book.
This is from the Peavey website. It indicates a date between 2001-2003. I found a date from another source indicating 2003. They Fury IV is a nice instrument!
