You may have turned on a 3D (side by side) mode.

Have a look at your remote, press the 3D button (you may have to press it several times) to cycle through the virtual 3D modes.

Once you see "3D off", the double image should go away.

If you want to use 3D again, simply cycle through the modes to go back to where you want to be.

Infocus lp425z projector pushes latop display to left quarter of output image

Usually this is a hardware acceleration setting problem on the 'advanced' properties setting in your 'screen resolution' properties on your computer. Re-set the hardware acceleration to the 2nd setting and this should fix your issue. We have this regularly when we project on a double projector system and the one projector keeps shifting everything left until we adjust the hardware acceleration settings on the computer. No more issue.

First time using infocus 1x projector with this laptop - installed drivers but there is no start up screen on the projector and will not display laptop image.

You have to tell the computer you hooked up an additional external monitor. Lower left on the keyboard you will see a "FN" key. Across the top, your F keys...look for an icon that looks like a monitor. Usually F5, F7 or F8. Hold down the FN key and select the F5 etc key which is the command to display the image through the external port. Doing this once displays image through the projector and laptop. Twice displays image to projector only and three times returns to display only on laptop again.

Hi,

Follow the step by step procedure if you are using win 2000 or XP or 2003 :

Start menu -> Settings -> click Control Panel.
In Control panel double-click the Display icon.
On the Settings tab, click the image of the second monitor, and then select the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor check box.

NEC Overhead Projector

Hi Forrest

This sounds like a damaged Mainboard.

First check if your Projector is still under warranty as this is a very expensive part to have replaced.

Also check if it has any effect whatsoever using another PC Cable.

Hope this is of help.

Double image at screen

It was not a double screen, but more of a separation of the colors. For example, if it said Display on the screen it would say DDiissppllaayy. The first of each letter would be one color and the second would be another color.
