SOURCE: asko dishwasher starts and immediatly stops

Hi mike, thanks for the clarification. Having this info, I am not sure this model is as the post indicates - "1595". Is it possibly a 1473 or 1474 model with a power button by the door handle ? If so, that is the most common problem with that style Asko. The contacts inside the button make momentary contact & then stop which requires replacing tge switch. Let me know if it is indeed one of these models or confirm what model number it is ok ? Thanks, Macmarkus

Hi Donald, Asko D3120 pump motor runs non stop.

Seems to be the fault with the control panel as it is possible that the drive relay stays triggered as soon as the power is switched on. All you need to is to remove the panel and check for a short in the power line output to the pump motor. Please check this link for tips to remove; Check how to remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html Use a multi-meter without which you will not be able to confirm the case. DO NOT BUY A NEW BOARD unless you have tested the board to confirm if the processor has failed or if this is a SCR or relay then it can be replaced.I would suggest that if there is a similar model with any contact or even from the service center where it can be swapped and tested or even tested on bench by simulation if you are familiar with the input connections. If none of the functions work then it is possible that the motherboard is faulty. Take estimate and decide.Compliments of the season.

Our Asko 1885 Dishwasher is stuck in drying mode

Check if the other functions of the dishwasher are OK such us when filling, draining or the heating element heats up properly. The control board may have detected some errors and it is not proceeding. You may have to have the parts involved in the faulty function checked out such as the valves for the drain and the fill if your machine is not filling or draining properly or filters blocked. Check the heating element and inspect the assembly for burns especially on the relays. The machine may not be heating correctly that is why it is not finishing the cycle. If these parts checks out OK, you may want to have the control board checked out or replaced.
