How do I turn off the speakerphone on my rumor 2?

Try this: Click the speakerphone button and then scroll down to voice guide switch the reader to "off"

Thats a hardware fault and you need to take it to a repair center.

I Took A Shower With My Phone In The Bathroom And It's An LG Rumor 2 From Sprint And It Wont Turn On At All. I Tried Putting In A New battery And Everything.. What Should I Do ?

Phone, you need a new one, fatal error, means something inside of your phone is fried. Charger, are you sure the outlet is good for electronics, sometimes the outlet is a dud after a while, even in newer homes, that is a possible problem, or you're getting the wrong charger, sometimes there isn't enough volts, or too many and can ruin yur battery, if you would like the perfect charger, google it, and figure out the perfect charger for your phone.

On the phone dialing screen that pops up (numeric dialing pad on touchscreen) you have a small speaker ICON press it to toggle speaker phone off and on.

You need to take your LG Rumor back to the store were you bought it. If you have insurance they will fix it or give you a new phone.

Yes they had a big drawback in this phone with the earlier version. It did not have a speaker phone option. LG has come up with an updated firmware. If you have a PC with data cable you can download the firmware from LG site and install it to your phone.

Or safest way is to contact the dealer and ask him to update the firmware to V04. After update you will be able to have the speaker phone option working

While the phone is on and open it should say "speaker" in blue above the button on the right. When you push that button it should turn speakerphone off. And if you have hung up the phone it should automatically turn off until you turn it on again.
