There is a balance option. Find the manual for this player and look for balance. You are looking to change it to 0 so that it plays through all of your speakers at equL volumes

I have the reverse problem.  Callers can hardly hear me. I saw a setting in the headunit that allows you to specify where the audio plays for incoming calls.  You can choose the Left Front Speaker, the Right Front Speaker or Both.  Check the manual and make sure its set to both.

SOURCE: Kenwood kdc-mp528 amp/speaker problem???

This is a common mistake. This problem indicates that you are using the solid blue wire from the head unit to the remote turn-on on the amp. This is a power antenna wire that only receives power when on FM radio. You need to replace this with the Blue & White wire from the head unit (power control wire) to your remote turn-on on your amp. This should solve your issue.

SOURCE: Head Unit of boat stereo cutting out at higher volume

check your ground wire ..
then check battery has enough charge..
usually fault is in where your stereo is connected to your ground source.. good luck ,if no luck try your checking your speaker wires for a short..

Centre channel pops

Popping is usually a sign that the output transistor on the amp (center channel) has blown - quite expensive to repair. eBay is good for picking up cheap but fully working receivers

Hi, my speakers are starting to sound a bit weird and i think its cause of pplaying around with the equalizers and settings on the Kenwood Amplifier, am just wondering if there is a reset button to restore...

Why guess? Get the manual out and actually look at the settings to see if they're out in space somewhere. If you don't try to understand what went wrong you will repeat it.

Hey,i have a problem with krf5100,when i do speaker custom setup,my RB and LB wont work, they even dont appear to display like L and R .whats the problem?

First of all, the KRF-V510 doesn't support direct powering of the Surround back but it does have a Pre Out to drive externally amplifed Surround back speaker(s).

The indicator for BS on the front panel is NOT an indication of speaker presence. It IS an indication of the INPUT presence of that channel.

During setup you will only see RB or LB ...

Page 17: IF you have something other than OFF set for Surrounds....
Page 17, step 9: AND you select something other than OFF if you have Surround back Speakers attached to the speaker connectors...

.. and complete the rest of the setup properly. You should HEAR the Test Tones on all speakers. If the Surround Back is inaudible you would need to investigate the external amp/speaker combination you're using.

My surround sound system is making intermittent thumping noises. It used to only do it when we shut it off, a few minutes later it would thump a few times. Now, it is doing it when its on. Why is it doing...

I had the same problem with my Kenwood KRF 5060d
First just sometimes I used to hear this noise click clack from the device while the sound disappeared. Then the problem became more frequent and no mere bearable.

So I've tryed to restablish the weldings on the board in correspondence to the speakers connections and the relay connections. Nothing changed, so I've substituted the relay OMRON G5PA 28 NW 12VDC 2 contacts normally open (6 pins) with the new FINDER 40.52 (8 pins) letting free the 2 pins for the normally close contacts.

Now my KRF 5060d is working properly with the only problem that sometimes the dispaly disappear and I have to apply a little pression on it with my fingers in order switch it on. Maybe I've compromised some contacts in the frontal pannel while unmounting even if it wasn't necessary.

My kenwood is only playing sound from the front 2 speakers the center and surround is not working. is there a fuse inside i can change? what do i need to do?

Not a fuse. Go through all the setups and speaker definitions or maybe just find that pesky "stereo" mode switch and reset it to something that allows all the channels to operate.

I can only get 2 speakers to work - the L and R speakers - I don't know how to tune in the central and other 2 speakers :-) I don't have the instruction manual

http://www.kenwood.eu/products/home/separates/avcc/KRF-V5100D/
goto the above link and follow the steps for setup, test and use as shown on the instructions, after checking all the connections for the speakers.
I used to set up home theater kits for a living and often found that a wire or two was clipped in on the insulation rather than the wire.
