My Sanyo PDG_DX100 projector only 100 hours now, its started white dots and balck dots how to fix it. if DMD chip problem, how much it cost me.

Anything is usually fixable. What you have to determine with Dell's assistance is if it is cost effective to do so.

You have a bad DLP/DMD chip. You'll have to have it repaired. You may be able to do it yourself if you are handy. Cost a few hundred. You might be able to get the part from Sanyo it will cost more. Many DLP chips have a three year warranty. I have done it to some mitsubishis I pulled one apart and got the chip number then ordered from China.

You will most likely have to get the DMD chip replaced. I suggest you get a quote from the local Acer agent as to how much it would cost for this repair.

Buy a new DMD Chip and replace it yourself only cost you $159 which save at least $100 to ask a repairing center to do it for you. Check the video how to do this. Source: DMD Chip replacement tips And your DMD chip should looks like

make a cleaing, if it still is full white dots, it should be problem of DMD chips,

buy a 8060-6038B DMD chips and instal it. only cost USD184
