I cant get my 1800 s out of the upright postion

common with this model you need to remove the ball, and fit a lager screw into the black lever that locks the wheels in the upright postion. or you can take it to your local vac repair shop for him to do it. we charge 29 for the bleach wash service. you dont need any parts and he will fit the new bigger screw into place when hes servicing it

you cant but you could put a towel up next to it that should help

There is a blockage . Check the small hose under the sole plate

sounds as the laser burnt out contact sony at 1800-345-7669 to get fixed or replaced

when mine does that I find that the hose is not connected properly where it comes off to use the attachments.
If there is suction there, it is a straight shot to the floor unless it is loose where it fits together.
