My Pioneer fh-x700bt loses its memory about every 10th time I start my car. I've checked the yellow and red wires and they seem right. The unit is only 2 months old so any help would be appreciated. T

Installed in a 2003 Toyota Celica

Red wire is Power
Yellow is radio memory
Black is ground

I have a pioneer fh-x720bt and figure out how to get to keep memory what is the problem

Hi Josh, if the installation was done by yourself, check the wiring of the yellow and red cables.
the yellow one should be connected directly to an uniterrupted strong +12volt supply line, like the +ve battery line.
the red wire can be connected to this line as well, or it can be connected to a "switched +12volt" supply line like the accessory line of the ignition switch barrel.
cheers.

How to connect pioneer fh-x700bt to a 2004 ford explorer

You need to buy a wiring harness compatible with your vehicle. The wiring harness will connect to your vehicle OEM plug and the other end you need to splice it with the wire that came along with your car stereo.
