How do I get a casio hr100tm to print the total?

Replace the 3 x AA memory batteries. It needs those as they are the equivalent of the motherboard battery in a computer. The master reset button in normally hidden under the Cash Total or Sub Total buttons. Then go through the manual and do Basic Setup.

You grasp it and then pull as hard as needed to remove it. next, shove the replacement into the space the removal revealed. Easy. huh?

For mine to print I have to hit either the subtotal key, or the total key. (# and/or * )

Hi. The -2- refers to the PLU level. It means that someone has turned the menu sheet holder over to side 2. Have a look at the number on the plastic frame that holds the rubber cover. If it is 2, turn the holder over to side 1 and the number should go away from the display. While on side 2, the items are completely different from side 1 (this is used for multiple menus e.g lunch and dinner menus).
