We have several of these printers with the exact same problem; colors do not print correctly. No matter what the original colors are, images tend to be strongly purple-hued - skin tone (of any color) makes people look like the walking dead; blue skies turn pink, etc. Troubleshooting like trying to compensate by adjusting color balance on the originals makes no difference. All ink cartridges have been checked, all possible print checks done including nozzle/print heads; all are OK, and our photoshop/computer to printer color is in alignment. We have used Epson printers before and did not have this problem; we have not had this problem with any other printer. Any further suggestions would be very much appreciated! (And no there is nothing wrong with the yellow ink.)

You can get this sometimes in Publisher programmes, it's a glitch, but also check cartridge alignment. If your not happy uninstal printer driver, disconnect printer and re instal driver first then re connect your printer.

Don't use nozzles clean function, besides ink consuming it can cause damages that cannot be fixed: black lines on the back side of the page that will be permanent. Instead put two photo paper together (2x260 gr) and push the two papers together into the printer while printing a motive including many colors. Do so a couple of times and the clogg usually disappears. Good luck! jonk

If you have carried out 4 to 5 head cleans, waited about 8 hours and done another 3 or head cleans doing nozzle checks after each clean (as recommended by the manual) and there is still no improvement then you will need a third party head cleaning solution such as this one:

Other makes & brands are available just google "inkjet head cleaning solution" Hope this helps.
