Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

If your Dyson fan isn't turning on at all, it's worth double-checking it in a different power socket, just to ensure it's not the socket itself which is at fault. If your machine has a plug which includes a fuse, we'd also recommend checking this.

If your fan still has no power when plugged in, or if the on/off switch LED light flashes when pressed, I'd encourage you to get in touch with us directly so we can provide further assistance. If a replacement part is needed we can also confirm if this is covered under our 2-year guarantee.

You can reach our experts by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

What a load of tosspots, worst customer service ever, I'm sure you'd tell me it's out of warranty and ask me if I'd like to buy a new one. Pretty disappointing for a company of Dyson's calibre

No power to Dyson pure cool fan

Check the fans cord. There might be damage to it. Try another outlet it could be the outlet the fan is plugged into. If you see no physical problems with fan. I would enter the serial number in dyson support and see if they will replace the fan. Here is dyson's support page to get started. http://www.dyson.com/support.aspx

My dyson won't turn on. In the section for the speed of fan is showing the number 33.

Hi Deborah, it's Jack at Dyson.

It's likely the '33' you see displayed on your machine is the target temperature you've selected, as the fan speed goes from 1-10.

If you've selected 33 degrees as the target, your heater will only activate if the ambient room temperature drops below 33 degrees. It would then continue to run until the temperature reaches 33 degrees once again. The intelligent thermostat is engineered to heat the room to the desired temperature, then to run as needed to maintain this temperature.

If you want the heater function to run, try increasing the target temperature degree by degree until the machine comes on. But if you want to use the fan-only function in warmer weather, turn the target temperature down to 0. The LED indicator around the on/off switch will turn blue, and the machine will run in fan-only mode to cool you down with unheated airflow.

My days on heat/ cool fan won't start on cool

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

To run your Dyson Hot + Cool heater on fan mode, you need to turn the target temperature down to 0 degrees using either the remote, or the controls on the base. The target temperature is shown on the LED display on the front of the heater. When fan mode is activated the light around the on/off button will turn from red to blue.

I hope this helps, but if you'd like any further advice you're welcome to contact our experts 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

My dyson hot fan will not give out air under 24 degrees?

Hi Charlie, it's Jack at Dyson.

When you adjust the target temperature of your Dyson Hot fan heater (shown on the LED display on the base), you're setting the target temperature you would like the room heated to. The actual temperature of airflow produced by the fan heater will not vary.

If the heater won't run below 24 degrees, this is likely to be because the temperature of the room you're in is equal to or warmer than 24 degrees. The heater will only turn itself on if the temperature drops below 24 degrees, and once the room temperature reaches this target once again, the fan will turn itself back to monitoring mode.

I've attached our Getting started video below which shows how to adjust the temperature, using the remote or the controls on the base.

I hope this makes sense. It sounds as if your machine is working correctly, but if you'd like any further advice from our experts you can reach us at 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).
