When I set my Bosch 1200 classic on a wash programme it will do the wash programme but then get to the spin cycle and won't spin (the spin light just flashes). I have drained it down and cleaned it out (bottom right front of machine). I notice that when I turn the machine on just the spin programme it makes a noise like something inside or stuck or a flapping noise like a Brocken belt is turning and flapping/catching against something. Please any help would be appreciated
They aren't very complicated machines. Unplug and remove the back. Look for trapped clothing, broken belt or something that seems out of place. If it all looks normal you could have a bad circuit board (but if that's the case the machine should throw an error code) Cheap on EBay and easy to replace. Mine was $45 and took less than 10 minutes.

Providing the machine isn't requiring major breakdown repair, the problem should be solved by emptying the machine and cleaning the drain pump. If this is obstructed the maching won't drain or spin as any bits left in clothes (paper clips, coins, nails, screws etc) wedge themselves into the (what I call a fly wheel) the pump impeller wheel at the back. If the fly wheel can't rotate the machine cannot pump or spin.
So.........turn off the washing machine before you fiddle about with it. Then, at the bottom right-hand side at the front of the machine there's a drop down door. Take this down and take it off. Then, lower the drain hose from its holder and pull the hose out of its housing. Be very careful if you're doing this while you have very hot water in the machine. To be safe, let the water cool before starting. Next take off the closing cap from the hose and empty the water from the machine. There are times when the water doesn't empty by this method so carefully open the door to the machine and bale it out. If the water does come out via the hose, have a suitably sized bucket at the ready as up to 20litres can be drained. Once you've done this, put back the closing cap of the drain hose and returned the drain hose to its holder, unscrew (anti clockwise) the petrol tank cap look-a-like placing a towel underneath as a little residual water will flow out. The pump impeller (fly wheel) must be able to rotate so clean out any residual fluff from the thread of the pump cap and pump housing before returning the pump cover and screwing tightly on. Put back the drop down flap and, hopefully, away you'll go again.
Hope this is of some help.

Possibly a blocked filter or pump.
Ths filter should be at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover at the bottom of washer.
To clean it, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses
and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If
it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the
correct
type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum
isn't
getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from
your
house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if
the
block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your filter is clean.

Your pump/filter is plugged. (E4) There
is a round door on the lower front of the washer. There is a small hole near
the door. Put a small screwdriver blade in the hole, push in just a little, and
you can rotate the door clockwise, the door will come out and you can get to
the problem. When the water is drained
in machine the door is open able.
Immediately facing you is a black connector, about 4 inches (10cm) in diameter.
When you unscrew this, all the water left in the washer will spill out onto the
floor. Use a plastic bag to catch this or a small pan.(later models have a
drain hose?) The black connector unscrews counterclockwise, and takes quite a few turns. Once you have it out, you'll find
the source of your clog. Remove it, clean out, screw the black connector back
in. You can check with rinse, if you
want to make sure there are no leaks. Put
the door back on and rotate. I will try to come back to you re. the wash, wash.
