SOURCE: 6A00 error
The error seems to indicate a failed sheet feed, check the paper path to see for any stuck bits of paper, however I have heard that this can also be caused by a flaky sensor in the paper path.....
apparently the best way to deal with this is to turn it upside down and give it a shake.
hope this helps

6A00 error on a Canon IP4200 is an AP Postion Error. This means one of three things. A problem with the sheet feeder, Logic board or the Purge Unit. Sadly these part are either working or not working and are difficult to repair. You could try resetting the EEPROM on the unit by entering service mode. A service manual will show you how to do that:

If that helps please rate my solution

6A00 is a problem with the sheet feed unit. I would get in touch with Canon, to hopefully get it repaired. Not much you can do yourself sadly.
