Why is palmone zire 31 frozen

You might be able to find a replacement part from Radio Shack.

You probably don't need the CD. Just download Palm desktop software (http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/zire/31/unlocked/downloads/page_en.html) and install that after you charge and set up the Zire. That should do it.

1. Step 1 Straighten a paper clip into a single line.
   
2. Step 2 Locate the "Reset" button by spotting a small hole on the backside of the Palm Zire 31.
   
3. Step 3 Push the power button on the Palm Zire 31 with your finger and hold it down steadily.
   
4. Step 4 Push the paper clip into the "Reset" button's hole while holding down the power button.
   
5. Step 5 Release the power button once the screen displays the "Palm Powered" logo.
   
6. Step 6 Push the navigational key in the "Up" direction to complete the Palm Zire 31 hard reset.
   

my palm zire 31 is frozen...i can not turn it off...i can not navigate any where on it.....please help

Have you installed PalmDesktop to your new computer yet?

There is no Windows driver for the Zire 31, but you will need Palm Desktop before you can sync.

I still have a Zire 31 in a box in the garage, and I'm happy to dig things off of the CD if you need anything, just use "add comment" in the top right corner there.

First, download the game to your PC.
Then add that downloaded file(.prc file) in the Install Tool/ Quick Install from PalmDesktop application. Then perform the HotSync to transfer it to the device.

o at the back of ur palm is a reset button just press it and it should be fixed

If you want to reset the password for your palm, go into prefs, then security.

In there, you want to try to get the unassign/lost password to come up.

Click on the -Assigned- and look for lost password/unassign.
If it doesn't appear there initially, try to enter the incorrect password several times.

A window should pop up asking if you want to reset/unassign the password.
