I have a Huskee riding mower. It had been stalling and had no juice when trying to restart it. I replaced the ignition with no luck. I started checking everything with a continuity tester. I found a blown 20 amp fuse next to the solenoid. After replacing it I tried starting it and it rolled over. I pushed it out of my garage and tried starting it again and nothing. I rechecked the fuse and its OK. What could be the problem now?

Recharge your battery and try again. With 20 amp being blown the battery wasn't being charge and maybe too weak to do anything.

SOURCE: It Starts and runs fine for about 15 minutes then

Chances are the gas vent (or gas cap vent, as the case may be) or air or gas filter are clogged or dirty. replacing and/or cleaning them should take care of the prob.

My huskee 21 173CC OHV powermore push mower starts then stops. What could be wrong? I changed the spark plug and the air filter.

Cindy, try running with gas cap off , if it runs OK then the caps vent hole is plugged, either try and clean vent hole or replace cap. It could also be a dirty carburetor which would need torn down and cleaned/rebuilt. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Huskee Riding Mower wont start

Try rotating the engine manually to check for any binding. I would also check the amp draw on the starter.

My riding mower has terrible hesitation while running. Feels like engine is going to stall but never does.

Could well be a worn belt, or too tight. Check the tension on belts for too much play. Also look for obstructions in deck, like old grass or debris.

I am working on a neighbors huskee slt4600h lawn tractor that wont start. I replaced the battery and it started once. When I tried to restart it all I get is a click from under the seat when the key is...

That doesn't sound good... make sure the wires have good connection to the battery terminals. If its not that then your gonna need a new starter...

My riding mower stopped as if the spark had been cut off. I tried to start it and absolutely nothing happened, Could the alternator be bad and it shut off the engine once the battery drained?

Probably not. The machine doesn't need alternator to run the mag fires the ignition, the alternator only replaces juice the battery used to start it. Eigther ignition unit failed or one of the safety switches. If I had to bet, my money is on safety switches.

My 17.5 hp 22in Huskee Lawn tractor is stalling out after 5 to 10 min.

Check simple things first - as soon as engine dies, remove gas cap and attempt to restart. If successful, the vent is blocked, causing a vacuum to form in the tank. Effect will be more pronounced when tank is full.

Mower wants to stall when blades are engaged on a Huskee 13hp 38'' cut Tecumseh engine 6 speed on the go shift

Usually when the motor stalls when blades are engaged on any mower it is the carb that needs cleaned and rebuilt. The motor isn't getting enough gas to handle the load.
