I have a LG Verizon 3.2 phone and I was having an issue with my google play store app. & some help forum told me to uninstall it & google play services. I can't seem to reinstall them and am getting an error message repeatedly that says google+ has to, or wants to, reinstall google playstore app., so I click on it, then it says something like google play store, or google play services, is not responding with a FORCLOSE option. All of the help FAQ'S say to go into applications, manage applications, to google play services,and/or, google play store, and select ENABLE option. In my settings there is the DISABLE option (that I used to do this), but there is no ENABLE option.

Google Play Services, the preinstalled app on your phone plays an extremely crucial role in the regular running of your lenvono. If anything is wrong with it, then your lenovo will start throwing fits in the form of errors and crashes including 'Google Play Services keeps stopping' error.

1 Starting with, will actually with restarting you Lenovo.
2 Another that does wonders for any issue is to "clear the cache" and date of the particular app. In this case, we need to clear cache and data for "Google Play Services" and "Google Play Store".

Typically this is something you would do through your cell phone company. For example, Verizon allows you to block up to 10 numbers, which can be managed via the My Verizon website. (You will need to visit from a desktop browser, not your phone.)

If it doesn't happen repeatedly i wouldn't worry about it. If you continue to encounter the issue, you can uninstall google apps by going to my apps in the play store. If it does not allow you to uninstall google apps, you can "uninstall updates." Once done, reboot your device and update via google play.

Even still to this day, it happens.
I've figured a temporary solution to fix this issue.

1. Go to settings > apps > manage apps and make sure you are under all apps tab.
2. Find Google play store and force close it. Then select uninstall updates.
3. Go back and scroll down to find Market Updater?... I think is what it is called and select force close.

From now on, only use the Market. The Google Play Store icon may disappear from the apps/app drawer... which is exactly what you want.

Problem solved.

If it ever happens again and Play Store comes up again, just repeat the process. As I said, I believe this fix is only TEMPORARY.
