How to restore blackberry z10

If you went to Settings, Security and Privacy then Security Wipe. The Balckberry will reload and reboot itself, but you will have to set up the wifi again as you will have wiped out the wifi settings and your Blackberry ID. You need to treat the Balckberry as a new unit and set up both. You can use the ID you set up originally. If you are not the original owner you will need to set up a Blackberry ID.

How do i change my username in my blackberry so i can get a new blackberry id

The Blackberry ID is permanent to the phone's operating system once activated. This is part of their security for the installed data. The explanation why it is done this way is involved. This approach is basically done in case the phone is lost, nobody can directly clone your phone to another one even if they have the password. They would have to do a complicated work-around. They would not be able to make Blackberry software purchases with another phone using your account. The phone and account are locked together.

You can only change the ID by doing a wipe on the phone. Then you must re-install the the OS (operating system). You will not be able to take back the old data from the Blackberry Desktop Link backup software that was entered on the phone with the old ID. If you do so, the old ID will come back.

Use the Blackberry Desktop Link software to re-install the OS. Then you can re-enter all the contacts, and schedules.

Before wiping the phone, you can sync the phone with Hotmail, or sync it with MS Office Outlook. If you are going to change the ID don't bother to make a backup image of the phone.

Once you re-install the OS you can now make a new ID and new ID password. Then you can let the phone re-sync with Hotmail, or you can bring back the contacts and scheduling by syncing the phone back from MS Outlook.

One thing about Blackberry.... If you ever forget your password for the phone there is no back door. Once the password has been wrongly entered more than the allowable amount the phone is wiped and locked out. The process to make the phone work again is fairly involved and a regular user would have to use Blackberry tech support services to make the phone work again. In this case they would have to prove they own the phone, and have a working provider account for it.
