Depends on lexmark and if they've written a driver for Vista for that model printer (I had an x125 all in one that I ended up giving away because they chose not to support in Vista).

Your Lexmark X1270 printer was designed for rosoft Windows 2000; Microsoft Windows XP; Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64; Microsoft Windows Vista; Microsoft Windows Vista x64; and Microsoft Windows 7 as it is indicated in its webpage. Remember, drivers and softwares are always limited from the manufacturer's releases. I recommend that you upgrade your printer to a Mac compatible printer. You may choose from this LINK.

Hello It may be the wrong driver CD for your PC system you are trying to install it on if you got the new windows vista or windows 7 you need the right driver for it so I have put vista and XP for you to download Vista will some times do for windows 7 as well so pick the one you want to download. I not sure what one you wanted so I put the 2 there for you I also have the Windows-7-32Bit-64Bit and XP-32Bit-64Bit and Vista-32Bit-64Bit I have put the software driver for you on my website you can download it from there all you got to do is click on the link I put for you, it may take time to download for you depending on the speed of your internet all the best. Is this the driver you downloaded. If so , sounds like a Lexmark software or driver problem. I am a little confused as the heading on you question says x1270 but the bold type says 3350?
the drivers that you may currently have in your newly upgraded computer is for windows XP, you will have to download and install the printer that you have using a Vista Compatible driver.
If this link works download the Vista drivers, maybe update your firmware. But start with the driver first.
If that link doesnt work. go to lexmark.com then , drivers and downloads, select download a driver, enter x1270 into the search and it will get you where you need. But try this link first, it should take you directly to the page you need.
