Try cleaning the lens & mirror, there may be something in there. other wise may need a new light engine. If the light engine is what's causing the issue, recommend replacing the TV with a NEW LED or LCD TV, due to costs.

it is your dlp chip i just changed mine make sure it is in tight ther is a video on you tube that is very helpful mine did the same thing with the lines untill i got the dlp chip in tight
Mitsubishi that the one,who u should contact.Talk to them make some kind of deal with them to help u to do a repairing or replace the tv Light Engine Projection Block.That the tv problems,this problems a design flaw on the tv Light Projection Egine Block the IC they put in that causes of this white spots are showing up will continue showing up more and more white dots.It will not stops.
