It is located under the passenger seat. May have to loosen the pass front seat mounting screws and remove the two rear screws and lift the seat up at the rear about 3 inches to replace it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7hfpkJrfLo
Type this in google and you can watch the door panel removal on You Tube CA (MB AUTOHAUS MERCEDE BENZ FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL FOR ML , GL, AND R CLASS )
the motor may be turning but i expect the control wire's have frayed or snapped, you will need to replace the complete window regulater component , for now jam the window in the up position with some cardboard folded over so it squeezes in the window channel and against the glass , this will keep the window from sliding down , you will need a mechanic to replace the regulator , dont touch the switch anymore as you may get the window down but not be able to push it back up , keep me posted if you wish
Open crank window. Remove cover for door handle and unscrew 2 screws. Unclip SRS panel and unscrew screw. Press door liner off bottom, fron and rear inner door panel with wedge. Lift door liner up and out. Unhook inner door actuator. Unclip inner lock on door liner. Remove lamp.
Check wiring harness in between door and body, most likley there is a broken wire in this harness.
To get the window up you will need to remove the panel and apply a power and ground direcly to the moter connector. if it does not go up then reverse the polarity
You need to remove the handles, there should be small covers blocking the screw, remove these, then gently pull by the bottom of the cover, you should feel the clips holding the cover to the metal frame of the door. Remove them all round and push the cover up so the window seal jumps out from the rail. Should be easy.
Firstly, if you don't know how...I doubt you can remove it anyway. Take it to your local car stereo installation shop and ask them NICELY to take it off - explain what the problem is (lemme guess the window/lock doesn't work). Good Luck
