Your question is not quite clear; however, if you mean that your computer is dead and you want to eject the DVD from its player (Note-Books/ Laptops) try the following:

1. Search and find a tinny pin-hole next to the eject button
2. Find a suitable size pin (I use extended paper clips) - push it through that hole and apply a little bit of pressure. that should release the locking device and the DVD should come loose. Pull it out and remove from the player.
Hope this helps and please give me a vote if this helps.

Where is the EJECT BUTTON on mytwo year old model # PP25L Dell Windows Vista laptop computer

If there is no physical eject button on your dvd drive, you can eject it with your operating system.
Go to My computer and right-click on your dvd drive. Your dvd drive should eject.

Dell inspiron 2200

at the front panel of the dvd drive where u normally press the eject button look carefully u will find a very small hole some where in around the eject button. now look for a broom stick or any tiny but straight object that can go in through the hole. put the broom stick into the hole gradually not with force. the dvd player will eject if it doesnt eject then i dont know.
to replace a new dvd player u just unplug the formal one from yr system and insert the new one thats all. make sure no screws r holding the dvd player b4 u do so.
hope this helps
do come back n tell us if don
thank u
