I just thought I would post this solution here after I spent several days and hours on the phone trying to get my Samsung Smart TV to connect to the internet. After having the television for 2 years with not problems at all, suddenly it would not connect to WiFi. The last tech at Samsung that I spoke with knew exactly what to do and my TV was back working and connection to the internet within a few minutes. He told me to reset the DNS to 8888.
Detailed instructions for the computer challenged community such as me: Best IPTV Service Providers
On your TV remote, go to Menu, Settings, Network
Next select Network Settings, Start, IP Settings
Then select DNS mode and make sure the green check is on "manual"
Enter 8 8 8 8 and OK
Bingo, instant internet
(note - I also was told to click on Samsung Smart Hub in upper right corner. I had reset my TV and it needed to update and add back my programs)

The easiest way to check this is to; enter the IP address of your router into the URL bar at the top of your browser, on phone, tablet or laptop. For Virgin Media and Sky users, it's 192.168.0.1. Some networks are different though, so Google it if you're with TalkTalk or someone else. Then, log into the router settings with the password - NOT your wifi password, but a specific one for the settings. It's usually on the bottom of your router, tucked away in the corner! Finally, if you've got a guest network switched on, you should be able to see a "Modify Guest Network" option or something similar, potentially in Advanced Settings. Here, just switching the Guest network off is the simplest way to make sure you don't connect to it. You can see who's connected to what, but it's complicated and a bit of a nightmare to do, so this is the easiest way. Hope that helps pal! Meilleur Abonnement IPTV

Where can I get free cable TV

Free IPTV can me found using a smart TV try something like mobdro.com It is unlikely you will find Free IPTV with an EPG (Electroninc program guide_) but you can find channel links. Pluto.TV also has Free Cable-like channels including Movies, News and others and can be downloaded on most smart TV's (Firestick, Roku, Android) through their app sections, this is much like Cable in that it will have a program guide for you.

Can I get help with connecting my smart tv to internet as its not working for me thanks a million :)

Hi, commonly these TVs use a network cable for connecting to Internet through a router, another TVs are wireless enabled, in this case you need a WiFi router to get Internet in your smart TV. The process is similar as you connect a computer to Internet but the keyboard of your TV is the remote control, some smart TVs can work with standard wireless keyboards and mices to surf Internet as with a computer.
