You may be able to narrow down what year it is by googling Epiphone guitar serial numbers. Good luck! Nice axe!
Epiphone Talk 2 Us
We can get the year from the serial, but you need to get the model from Epiphone. We would need that info as well as the instruments condition and your location to offer a pricing option.
Sounds like perhaps a Les Paul Special II, but more detail is needed to say for sure. There was a lot of variation in their Les Paul models. Posting a photo of both sides and the headstock is best.
-Has the guitar any binding, and what colour?
-Is the back of the guitar white or all black?
-Exactly what is on the front of the headstock, 'Epiphone', the 4-diamond logo, anything else?

Vintage numbers from 1932 to 1970 are now supported. Serial numbers from 70' and 80's era Epiphone guitars made in Japan are not supported. The reason for this is that there is no reliable documentation from this time period. This Module has been updated to work with the newer serial number formats.
Your serial number actually starts with a capital i instead of a number 1. Your guitar was made at the Saein Plant, Korea in May 1999 Production Number: 0857
