Carefully check under rubber seal to see if it has screws. If it doesn't then panel should just pop off. The rest should be straight forward. Remove and replace blower.

My lg refrigerator will only make ice when I open it up and push the inside button. There is no water available in the front and complete frig not cooling well.

If your LG refrigerator is only making ice when you open it up and push the inside button, and the complete fridge is not cooling well, there are a few things you can check:
  1. Check the temperature settings: Make sure the temperature settings for the fridge and freezer are set correctly. If the temperature is too high, it can cause the fridge to not cool properly.
  2. Check the air vents: Make sure the air vents inside the fridge and freezer are not blocked by food or other items. Blocked air vents can prevent proper air circulation and cause cooling issues.
  3. Check the door gaskets: Make sure the door gaskets are sealing properly. If there is air leaking through the door gaskets, it can cause the fridge to not cool properly.
  4. Check the condenser coils: Make sure the condenser coils on the back of the fridge are clean and free of dust and debris. Dirty condenser coils can cause the fridge to not cool properly.
As for the error code E 1S or 15, it indicates a problem with the ice maker fan. This fan is responsible for circulating air over the ice maker to prevent frost buildup. If the fan is not working properly, it can cause the ice maker to not make ice or make ice intermittently.
To fix the issue, you may need to replace the ice maker fan. It's recommended to have a professional technician perform this repair to ensure it's done correctly.

Continuous beeping

Either any door is not closed properly or door sensor is not working, its not sensing the door closed.Or the problem is no defrost. The defrost is causing over ice in fridge or freezer section.

Reset the refrigerator by disconnecting it from wall outlet for 12 hours, then reconnect and see if still the same problem is there.

On some cases its issue with fan not working. There are two fans, one in freezer section and one in fridge section. If either of the fan is not working the controls will flash.

Before going to buy any parts directly.

The bottom freezer of my Kenmore Refrigerator works fine but the top refrigerator compartment no longer cools? Thanks

All the cooling happens in the freezer. The refer section relys on a fan to blow cool air into it.When you open the freezer you should hear a fan running. If you hear the fan running, close the freezer door and open the refer door. Look for the vent/area where the air comes in.Put your hand in front of it.If little or no air is coming out it could be a sign of an icing/defrost problem restricting the air to the refer section.
It will take a tech with the right tools to find the exact problem.
If the fan is not running you will have to unplug the unit and remove the back of the freezer section from the inside and make sure ice is not keeping it from turning. If it is free of ice then replace the fan motor.

Not cooling

Roy,
Are the evaporator coils in the freezer frozen up?
The evaporator is located behind the cover in the back of the freezer.
If so this may be a defrost issue.
The adaptive defrost timer may have failed.
This is located in the ref. side inside the front control pannel.

If not then you may have a freon leak.
This would have to be repaired by a qualified technician.

Not cooling or freezing

When the compressor is running, both the fan inside the freezer and the fan down by the compressor should be running. If OK, look for frost on the back wall of the freezer, indicating a probable defrost heater failure. If yes, remove back metal cover in freezer, defrost with hair blower, replace defrost heater (the thing at the bottom of the freezer coils with two wires going to it)
If no to these, send me an "ask me" follow up question.

SAMSUNG RS253BAWW NOT WORKING

the ice maker wont cycle untill the temp of the ice is around 10 degrees so if the freezer is at 15 or 20 due to some other malfunction then you will see the maker full of ice but it wont harvest and make another batch. so you could have a sensor bad, control malfunction, refrigeration issue, compressor, defrost system malfunction(you mentioned ice build up)
