SOURCE: How do I change the belt on Eureka Pet Pal

Unlike most vacuums, this one the screws are on the top of your base. There are two screws one on each side. When looking at the front of the vacuum right side screw is located above the s in 12amps and on the left side screw is located above the p in pet. Now keep in mind it's not directly above the letters look about 2 inches up. Unscrew them, take cover off. Once you have done that pull up on the brush rod. Maybe tough if ur vacuum has a lot of built up dirt. Next put belt on metal prong then put on brush rod. Place rod back in its spot, gonna need little bit of muscle. Then put top back on and replace screws. Plug in flip bottom just to make sure brush is spinning. If u have followed steps this should work. I hope this helped took me forever to find the screws because I have always had vacuum with them on the bottom and internet was no help to me. Good luck

Can you tell me how to change the belt on my eureka AS3001A vacuum. It is belt 75914 for the pet power paw attachment. Please help,

Swivel the collar at the smaller end where it attaches to the vacuum which will allow the clear plastic cover to come off which will allow you to pull out the brushroll and belt to replace it. Reverse to reassemble.
