Parrot bluetooth ck3100 - my parrot is not working and is displaying goodbye on the screen. Any ideas would be appreciated

Found this on the net, not sure if it works or not:

"Hard reset the CK 3100 by pressing all three buttons for two seconds and then pressing them a second time (warning initializes factory settings)
2. hard reset thisback to factory settings"

The software has failed, this may be due to the Parrot being wired wrong, Did the kit have the word "goodbye" when switching off?. if not then you will need to make sure the wiring is correct or this may happen again. You can try removing power from the Blue brain box and this may work otherwise you will need to have new software put into the kit. If the kit still says no signal after a power reeboot you will need an engineer to write new software into the brain. The parrot web site has a list of all approved engineers.

Hi there, my Parrot CK3100 screen just says "Goodbye" how do I switch it back to the Parrot symbol, so I can pair it up to my Samsung Wave via bluetooth. My phone is connected to the device, but the divice is not connecting to my phone?

Just a question of cable between the screen and the box, just get in touch with parrot to make it changes.

go to settings then paried devices and delete all the previous paired devices, the parrot will only hold 5. if this dos'nt work you may need to perform a software update, this requires downloading new software from parrot.com/support and sending via bluetooth to your parrot. check parrot site for compatability with your phone.

it has has a software crash, you will need to have the blue junction box unplugged to reset it, this may also not work and you may need new software putting into the parrot, if in doubt go to parrot.com and find an accredited engineer in your area.

If the display is stuck on goodbye then you will need to reset the brain box by disconnecting for a couple of minutes.

yes, and if this is not corrected it will eventually damage the parrot.

you willhave to send the contact manually to the parrot you can try making all but if this dont work you will have to send them one by one.
