LEONARD MCCARTHY Your answer does not help!!!!! I have a jupiter 125 that wont stop beeping i Open it removed all the screws to uncover the motor drive and there is a sensor that pop up and down this is what releases the top cover when it making a loud noise ! it was stuck by the spring metal a the sheet of metal! there also a ***** on the bottom of laminator that say "remove this *****" this hold the spring sensor and stop if you tighten this *****. it stop the noise when i connected to trouble shoot but when i put back together i started making the noise again! my guess is that has to do with that sensor spring is getting stuck or faulty!

How can I open a Fellowes Venus 2 125 Laminator as I have a small pouch stuck in it and it won't come out

I had this happen where I worked and I elected to fix it. You have to remove the screws in the base, and IIRC the ends. Then I used a knife to cut the laminate pouch and pull out the pieces with pliers. If you can turn it on without damaging the machine or zapping yourself, the heat will help. My boss ordered a replacement which turned up a few days later :>D

Why won't my laminator turn on?

There is a heating unit inside of a hot laminator. Sometimes when you use this machine for too long it can damage some of the internal components because most of those things are full of plastic. You may want to see if Fellows can take it back under warranty. If they can't you are going to have to get a new one.

Fellowes laminator

Plz try the "Jam free" lever located on the top LEFT of the laminator. You ca try to feed another film in....hoping it will force the pouch out. Otherwise, you will have to take the cover off and unroll the pouch from the inside rollers. Good luck!

once you take it apart it voids all warrants if you have any.
if you do not have any warrant parts than that the only way you are going to fix the issue.
here is what some one gave me some tips on disassembly of equipment. draw a picture of the device, mark the area of screw layouts, after separating the 2 parts draw diagram of each part, make foot notes on what you did, screw locations, parts removed, parts cleaned, PUT EVERYTHING IN A LINE IN THE ORDER OF REMOVAL PARTS, than work backwards and put everything back the way you took it apart, you should not have any extra parts and it should work fine. than if it every happens again you have your notes and information on hand to help you. you could try this site.
